You don’t have to understand everything that is happening within your brain and body during Breathwork to receive all the healing and all the benefits, but it is empowering to know the great depth of what is happening within your subconscious and your physical vessel that creates healing and the continued emergence of your whole self. I will be teaching “the science” of what’s happening during your healing sessions, in layman’s terms that are easy to understand.

This is a class plus a Breathwork healing session plus a Q&A for any questions you have about your healing journey and how all of this stuff works.

Bring your questions, bring your heart, bring your curiosity, and get ready to let go of another layer of a wound, a pattern, or a limiting belief you have about who you are and who you get to be in this life.

I’ll be sharing:

  • How the shadow forms & the personality adaptations we carry into adulthood

  • What parts of the brain are activated for healing during Breathwork

  • What happens in the brain that is similar to a psychedelic experience

  • How Breathwork creates new patterns in the brain, a more resilient nervous system, and greater adaptations to stress responses and triggers

Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to purge the body and nervous system of emotional debris.  It is part catharsis, part socially sanctioned adult temper tantrum, and part consciousness altering.  The experience moves stagnant emotional energy and facilitates release of strong emotions like anger and sadness.  It can help you to find a home in your body and your heart and help you learn to trust yourself.  It leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened.
