Summer is the Season of the Heart & the Fire Element.

The Summer Solstice is exact at 1:50pm PDT on 6/20.

The Solstice marks the first day of Summer. The longest and brightest day of sunlight puts a personal spotlight on each of us. The Summer sun illuminates a new path and a new way of existing for us.  It’s always a transitional time when the seasons change.  We move from the seed stage of spring to our full bloom.

Our bright and expansive hearts crave deep witnessing, connection, reflection, acknowledgment, intimacy and expression. When this brilliant gem in the center of our chests receives our own love, value and tenderness, we can flourish and co-create beautiful relationships. With ourselves and with treasured others. We can open to the bounty of beauty that is present in the every day.

 Breathwork is an active meditation technique that uses the breath to purge the body and nervous system of emotional debris.  It is part catharsis, part socially sanctioned adult temper tantrum, and part consciousness altering.  The experience moves stagnant emotional energy and facilitates release of strong emotions like anger and sadness.  It can help you to find a home in your body and your heart and help you learn to trust yourself.  It leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened.
