This group healing session will open with a short talk on how we can use Breathwork to get out of our heads, heal our hearts, integrate our shadow side, and grow a more compassionate relationship with ourselves and our emotions. We’ll open the circle with a grounding meditation and short instruction on the breath technique.
Breathwork is an active meditation technique done lying down that uses the breath to cleanse the body of stuck emotional energy. It facilitates the release of strong emotions like anger and sadness. It leaves you feeling softer, open and less burdened.
Breathwork can change emotional default settings, patterns of depression and anxiety, connect you to your intuition, help you access your creativity and open your heart to increased gratitude and self-love. It is a self-healing practice that has changed lives and is an efficient and effective way to emotionally detox.
Breathwork is part catharsis, part socially sanctioned adult temper tantrum, part community building and part consciousness expanding experience.
We will breathe for about 30 mins, followed by a 10 minute savasana with some time for questions/sharing at the end.
